How does your return policy work?

It's our goal to keep you satisfied! We will replace damaged or faulty contact lenses at our expense if they arrive torn.


If the box has not been opened or tampered with, we can provide you with replacement lenses.


If you receive a faulty product, we will only credit you or refund you if you return at least 1 lens from the box. When a contact lens cannot be returned for our suppliers to investigate the defect, we cannot credit your account.


If you are not happy with your purchase or made an error, we will help you get the correct contact lenses. We do charge a R75 return and redelivery fee if the reason for the return is the fault of the customer.


What is the process for returning an order?

To return torn or faulty contact lenses, or if you received the wrong order, simply email us at store@optique.co.za and we will assist you with returning your order to us. 


Is there a time limit for returning my order?

You can return any order within 30 days of receiving it.


When can I expect a refund or exchange?

We usually process the product within 1-2 working days of receiving it in our warehouse. Within 1-5 working days, we can reissue you with new lenses.


you will receive your refund after we have processed it, and it can take anywhere from 3-5 working days for your bank to process it.

Due to a recent change in regulations by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), we are no longer permitted to deliver prescription eyewear, including glasses and contact lenses, directly to patients. As a result, all orders must now be collected from your nearest Optique branch.
