one such life-changing story is that of Charmain, a valued client who experienced the transformative power of a simple, affordable R99 eye test. charmain's journey began when Alrine Annandale, a talented optometrist from our Towers (Bloemfontein) branch, detected optic nerve head swelling (Papilledema) during a routine examination. recognising the urgency of the situation, Alrine quickly referred Charmain to an ophthalmologist, who in turn referred her to a neurologist.

as a result of this crucial chain of referrals, the doctors discovered that Charmain had a brain tumour. Thanks to the early detection made possible by a thorough eye test and the expertise of our optometrist, Charmain is now on the path to a remarkable and speedy recovery.
